If you can’t beat ‘em…
… join ‘em!
I have decided to embrace the Jubilee celebrations, and the Olympics too. They are going to go ahead whatever I feel about them, so I may as well join in and have some fun!
My feelings towards royalty are… ambivalent. Do we need them? Not really. Are there other things we could spend money on? Yes, lots. But there is also a positive side to royalty. They are part of our history and national identity. This weekend the whole country has one positive focus, people are doing things as a community, they will have fun and build memories, that is a good thing.
And the first step to having fun? Why! The pound shop of course! For bunting and flags!
Do you like what I’ve done with the boudoir?
Fancy helping me celebrate?
